System: Surface channels, grated pits and project-specific pipework as designed
Layout: Pit positions, pipe routes and discharge point to follow the approved drainage plan
Levels: Set grate and inlet levels with finished paving falls and overflow paths
Sizing: Pipe diameter, channel capacity and pit dimensions to be determined by the drainage designer
Grates: Load capacity, material and openings to suit pedestrian or vehicle use at each location
Maintenance: Provide access to pits and outlets for inspection and removal of debris
